August 16, 2022

There’s no doubt that low-code and no-code had a great run in 2021. There are numerous developments, new platforms and increased awareness on this type of development. With its growth rate, experts say the global low-code/no-code development platform market is expected to produce $187 billion in revenue by the year 2030. Businesses of all sizes will be able to utilize it and will account for more than 65% of application development activity by 2024.

It has also created a symbiotic relationship with traditional coding. The message is clear - no-code will not replace coding.

It aims to enable a larger group of people to code and let the ideas transition into digital reality. This opens doors for people to enable their simple websites, apps, and automation faster than regular coding. According to a survey, 84% of enterprises have used low-code/no-code to reduce bottlenecks on IT resources, increase speed-to-market, and better collaboration in digital asset development.

With 2021, ending in a few days, let’s take a look back on the milestones of no-code this year and how they took one step forward in becoming an essential tool for development.
